We get many hits a year, and we try our best to help your pets find the homes they deserve. If you need help finding an animal a home, please read the policies and rules below.
We post rescue animals, shelter animals, and animals that belong to individuals.

There is NO FEE required when posting on this website.
Rescues/Organizations
Staff of a rescue/organization are the only people who are able to post the rescue animals on this website.
RULES
1.) You do not have to be a non-profit in order to post on Help A Horse.
2.) Animals you post must be at your rescue (not waiting to be transported)
3.) You must send us atleast one rescue website that you own.
4.) Your rescue can be any type (dog, cat, horse, all breed, etc.)
5.) You must provide us with your rescue location.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
* You cannot be a breeder. We will NEVER post breeders on this website, so please don't ask to post if you are a breeder!
* The pictures you send us are protected. On one half of our website we disabled the right-click and highlighting. But on this website only the right-click is disabled. If you would like your pictures HIGHLY protected, ask us to post your rescue on our other website.
* We do visit rescue websites often, but we do not know when animals have been adopted. If one of your animals have gotten adopted, and they are posted on our website, just let us know. It really doesn't matter if the adopted animal is on our website though. Most people just visit our website to see the rescues.

We accept any rescues that want their animals posted, even rescues that are made up of volunteers and foster homes.
Individuals
If you are not part of an organization or rescue, you are considered an Individual Owner.
RULES
1.) You cannot sell your animal to make a profit. We only add ADOPTION FEES to rescues/organizations.
2.) The animal you post, MUST belong to you. We are not responsible for any problems that occur, if you break this rule. However, if you know an animal that needs DESPERATE help, we will post it, whether or not it belongs to you. Just make sure it truly needs desperate help.
3.) You must fill out the form (below) completely. If you submit a form with empty spaces, it will not be read.
4.) The animal you have MUST have a name. No-Name animals, do not get as much attention. If you really want your animal to get adopted, give it a name, even if it's name is not original.
5.) A picture is HIGHLY recommended. Pictures are not manditory, but they are extremely helpful when trying to find your animal a home.
IMPORTANT DETAILS
* We do not support breeders of any type! Help A Horse is against breeding, so please don't ask to post your breeding organization. SPAY AND NEUTER!!
* We are not PetFinder, however we do the same things. We help rescues get their animals adopted, we help train rescue animals, and we support rescues/shelters.
*We are located in the United States. We haven't posted a rescue out of the country, but if there is an animal that needs help that is NOT located in the U.S. we will try to help.
*Please don't add "WE SHIP!" anywhere in the description of the animal you send. We do NOT accept the shipping of animals!
